Daniel Stisen grew up in Mandal in the south of Norway where his dad owned a gym. Daniel practically grew up in this gym and started working out at age 5. He competed in Powerlifting from the age 16, and turned to Bodybuilding two years later.

At age 20, Daniel won the Junior Class at Oslo Grand Prix. Next year, still as a junior, he won both Junior and Senior Class at the Norwegian National Championship. Widely considered the greatest talent in Norwegian Bodybuilding history, Daniel quickly became one of the exciting new talents in the Bodybuilding world.

After bulking up for several years, Daniel was ready to hit the international circuit. His eyes were set on the Mr. Olympia stage, and being extremely ambitious by nature, Daniel had laid out the plan that within years could take him to the very top in the sport he loved more than anything

A very unfortunate accident set a permanent stop to his athletic ambitions. Loading the squat bar with too much weight during a photo shoot without sufficient warm up, Daniel ended up tearing his right thigh muscle. He had set a junior world record in Powerlifting Squats when he was 21, but the exercise that was his signature strength, also sealed Daniel’s fate.

After a few tough months with mental regrouping, the always strongly driven Daniel decided to aim directly for what originally was his second large life goal: To become a Hollywood action hero.

After 6 months at Nancy Mannes Acting Studio in Oslo learning the basics through the Sanford Meisner Technique, Daniel moved to London. At The British Action Academy, he was trained in Screen Combat by Andreas Petrides who is one of the U.K.’s greatest stuntmen of all times. Petrides did the stunt and action choreography for movies like Gladiator, Star Wars, Braveheart, James Bond, Tomb Raider, etc. The curriculum includes learning to act like Spartans, Gladiators, Romans, Knights, Pirates, Vikings and street fighters.

Next stop on Daniels international actor journey was Hollywood. Here he honed his acting chops at the renowned Ivana Chubbuck Studio. The legendary institution with its 12 Step Acting Technique has developed stars like Brad Pit, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron, only to name a few.

Daniel quickly decided not to choose the path of endless auditioning, but instead focus on building a strong industry network and surrounding himself with the right professionals to take control of his career. Through further studies, he has developed skills in story development, screenwriting, production and the business aspects of film making.

Daniel started his productions company to develop action and sports films for international marked.
